GoalieSam Hockey Schools Inc. was officially established in Helsinki, Finland 2001 and since then has provided comprehensive and professional sport educational services around the globe.Field of expertise is mainly targeted for organizing and managing ice hockey camps, events, educational seminars and private lessons. GoalieSam Hockey Schools has extremely improved and increased its popularity and visibility in the business during the last few years. Earlier GoalieSam Hockey Schools was mostly only known as a goalie school but since 2008 developed the educational program to provide extremely professional skills program also for players.

 

Today, GoalieSam is no doubt one of the most well-known and respected hockey school program in the market and provides a high standard and unique service for hundreds of goalies and players each year. GoalieSam program is designed and targeted for goalies and players from all ages and levels, including A-AAA and up to senior professional level.

 

Annually about 700 hockey players from 15 different countries are in contact with GoalieSam programs. Over 250 national team players and dozens of KHL and NHL players have participated the program so far.

 

One of the unique and most valuable assets of the program is the well organized and designed teaching philosophy and development concept. In addition, GoalieSam has very strict requirements and expectations regarding staff members and therefore can assure the highest quality. Each instructor has either played and/or coached a long career in competitive leagues around the world and some even have experience from the NHL and KHL. Together with the extensive experience, majority of the instructors are also academically highly educated to their professions as coaches, teachers and Masters/ Bachelors in Sport and Pedagogy. In GoalieSam we fully believe that high coaching and pedagogical quality is equal to professional player development and success.

Mission is not only to develop our students and athletes to the details of the sport but also support and educate them towards correct life values and principals. In other words, once a GoalieSam student, is always a GoalieSam student and as we like to say, a important member of the “GoalieSam Family”. One unique factor in GoalieSam is the genuine interest and passion that the staff members has towards the students. Majority of the staff members have been part of the program for years and therefore not only masters the teaching philosophy, values and content but also has a close and committed contact to the students. This naturally ensures and enables more individual based teaching and higher quality in coaching.
